I joined Garland UK as a Technical Manager in 2018, working with clients across the West Midlands, including Birmingham, Coventry and Worcestershire.
I always strive to provide trusted technical advice that can be depended upon, something I feel my client’s value from our working relationship. Always taking an honest approach, I tackle a roofing challenge head-on, to not only find the optimum design and system to solve the challenges they are facing, but also meet the client’s budget and long-term needs for the building.
Working closely with my Technical Assistant, Jim Hammond, we produce all of the technical reportage we need to help our clients make an informed decision, from condition reports and core sampling to U-Value calculations and moisture mapping surveys.
I enjoy the variety I experience day to day and the people I get to meet. I could be in an industrial estate surveying an asbestos roof in the morning, be on a church roof at lunchtime for a project progress report, before meeting with a business manager, contractor and surveyor at a school to kick-start a large refurbishment project!
