We’re thrilled to share the exciting news that Garland UK has recertified our ISOQAR with our new certification body, Alcumus, for ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001, maintaining our continued benchmark for excellence in our industry.

ISOQAR, or the International Organisation for Standardisation Quality Assurance Register, is an independent UKAS-accredited certification body that provides accreditation for organisations seeking to comply with various ISO standards. ISOQAR is crucial in assessing and certifying businesses across different industries to ensure they meet internationally recognised standards for quality, environmental responsibility, and occupational health and safety.

The ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) is a global body that develops and publishes international standards to ensure the quality, safety, and efficiency of products, services, and systems. ISO standards cover many areas, including manufacturing, technology, healthcare, and environmental management. The standards are created through a consensus-based process involving input from experts, industry stakeholders, and representatives from participating countries.

Elevating Quality Standards (ISO 9001)

The ISO 9001 certification is a seal of approval for our commitment to consistently delivering quality building envelope systems and technical services. At Garland UK, we believe that quality is not just a feature but plays a core role in the service we provide our customers, from product manufacture to quality installation by our approved contractors, and the ISO 9001 certification assures our customers that they can always rely on us for systems that meet or exceed their expectations.

Our Journey To Net Zero (ISO 14001)

We are proud that our work allows us to impact people’s lives positively, but we are acutely aware of our industry’s environmental impact on the planet. With the ISO 14001 certification, we are able to demonstrate our dedication to minimising our environmental impact and align much of our ongoing practices to our Sustainability Commitment, whereby Garland UK will be net zero carbon by 2032. From sourcing materials responsibly to optimising our processes, Garland UK is actively working towards a more sustainable future.

Prioritising Occupational Health and Safety (ISO 45001)

The well-being of our employees and customers is paramount. The ISO 45001 certification underscores our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace; by implementing robust occupational health and safety measures in every facet of our business, from head office to on-site projects, we ensure that every interaction with Garland UK is productive and secure.

Andy Dickens, Health & Safety and Compliance Manager adds,

“For Garland UK, these certifications are not just milestones; they are a reflection of our promise to consistently deliver excellence, where we understand that our success is intertwined with the satisfaction and trust of our customers. These certifications reaffirm our dedication to being a responsible, reliable, and forward-thinking partner, and we look forward to continuing to raise the bar for quality, sustainability, and safety.”
