Garland UK is pleased to announce our appointment to the LHC RS5 Framework Agreement for the Design, Supply and Installation of Roofing Systems. This latest framework, valued at approximately £285 million, represents a significant opportunity for public sector clients across the UK to access high-quality roofing systems through a fully compliant procurement route. Building on our successful participation in the RS4 Framework, our continued partnership with LHC further strengthens our role as a trusted supplier to the public sector.
The LHC Procurement Group is a not-for-profit, public sector procurement organisation that develops and manages framework agreements designed specifically for the built environment. LHC serves as the central body for a network of regional procurement alliances across the UK, including the South West Procurement Alliance (SWPA), Welsh Procurement Alliance (WPA) and Northern Procurement Alliance (NPA). While LHC develops and governs the overarching framework agreements, these regional alliances implement and manage them at the local level, ensuring that councils, housing associations, NHS trusts, schools, and other public bodies have straightforward access to pre-approved suppliers.
Garland UK is proud to have been appointed as a supplier across all of the above regional procurement alliances under the RS5 Framework, enabling us to deliver our specialist services throughout England and Wales.
At the heart of Garland UK’s offer is a commitment to long-term partnership and technical excellence. Every client is supported by a dedicated Technical Manager, who acts as a single point of contact throughout the entire process, from initial survey and specification through to installation and aftercare. This personalised, hands-on approach has long been a hallmark of Garland’s success, ensuring that every project benefits from experienced guidance, clear communication and consistent quality.
Each system designed by Garland UK is bespoke, based on a detailed analysis of the building’s specific needs, and delivered by our network of Approved Contractors. Regular site inspections, led by the Technical Manager and supported by our in-house technical team, ensure that installations are delivered to the highest standards and in full compliance with relevant regulations, including BS and Safe2Torch guidance. All project activity is documented and accessible via our secure Roof Asset Management Programme (RAMP), providing complete transparency and continuity from project inception to handover.
One of the key advantages for RS5 clients is Garland UK’s Single-Point Guarantee, a market-leading commitment that covers design, materials and workmanship under one, unified warranty. Unlike traditional guarantees, which often split liability between manufacturers and installers, our Single-Point Guarantee ensures that Garland UK takes full responsibility for the performance of the roofing system. In the unlikely event of an issue, our clients deal with one contact, one resolution process, and zero uncertainty.
Commenting on the appointment, Garland UK Commercial Manager Andy Rooke said:
